The warm up

Right. It's come around much more quickly than we could have imagined, but this weekend we are attempting to walk up Mount Snowdon. Yikes.

Uncharacteristically for me, I am unbelieveably badly prepared. I have no boots - gulp. But I did go out and buy this today:

I bought it from the lovely Stanfords - it always makes me happy to buy from specialist shops like that. They offer a bespoke map printing service that can print even more detailed maps, which I probably would have down if we weren't leaving in three days.
